Girls in Power

The action-packed Girls in Power program is back for another year, offering Grade 9/10 girls in northern Tasmania the chance to learn about different careers in the renewable energy industry.
From 30 May to 1 June, participants will spend a day in Poatina village, and another in Launceston, while also visiting Cattle Hill wind farm.
Students will explore drones, EVs, solar and wave energy all in a fun, hands-on way, and meet and hear from other women in the industry.

How do you apply?
To apply, send us an expression of interest (letter) about yourself, and why you want to be a Girl in Power. Only one application per student please.
Applications close on Monday 3 April, with participants chosen by Wednesday 5 April.
