The annual Fearless Festival, (previously the AMWU Women’s Forum) promotes the range and diversity of employment and career choices in Tasmania. The forum allows young and not so young women, to meet, hear and mingle with super successful women from all kinds of jobs. Get hands on and immerse yourself with careers and opportunities you have always wanted to know more about.

Festival Focus – Performance Workshops facilitated by Kate & Brad Von Rock

Thursday 10 August – 9am to 2pm 

• Introductions – All workshop participants will get a chance to meet each other, talk about who they are and what their passion is
• Communication Workshop – public speaking, performing, mindfulness, confidence
• Song Selection – A group session looking at what song to perform at FEARLESS
• How to prepare for a performance  – learning lyrics, personal presentation, make a list

Friday 11 August – 9am to 2pm

• Performance Workshop – stage presence, confidence, hydration
• Question time
• Rehearsals – arranging a song, practicing.
