Mini MakerX is an exciting family friendly ‘show and tell’ from people who love to, create, learn, innovate and change!

This one-day expo aims to raise awareness of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics activities, and to encourage our future workforce to engage in this space.

Connected to this year’s National Science Week theme; ‘Species Survival – More than just sustainability, we will also have a focus on Burnie’s local Little Penguins, their habitat, ecology and how we can help them thrive.

Join the University of Tasmania for a community festival bringing together the elements that makes our region so unique. This gathering is designed to promote idea sharing, learning, participation, creativity, and hands-on activities.
