Regional Jobs Hub Network – connecting you with local jobs

Looking for your first job or want to get some advice to plan your next move? Then the Regional Jobs Hubs Network, supported by Jobs Tasmania, is here to support you every step of the way.

Jobs Hubs are a place in your local community where you can get personalised attention and advice from friendly staff. They can help connect you to local employers, get your job application documents into shape and help with transport options to get to and from work. They can also connect you with other services and support that you might be eligible for.

Jobs Hubs are located right around the state in Glenorchy, Sorell, Brighton, St Helens, Launceston and Burnie (and Huon Valley coming soon). Most have outreach services for people who live further out. Find your nearest Regional Jobs Hub

Career Connector

If there isn’t a Jobs Hubs near you, then you can still get support through the new Career Connector service available for young people aged 18-25 years. The service will be delivered by two service providers, Searson Buck (covering south, north and north-east regions) and Youth, Family and Community Connections (covering north-west and west coast region). The service can connect you to jobs, support, and services such as the Job Ready Fund, which gives you up to $500 towards buying equipment or clothing you might need to start your new job.
