Economics Challenge Taster Sessions
20 September 2021 @ 9:00 am - 2:30 pm
Are you a Year 10, 11 or 12 student curious about how people make choices under scarce conditions? And are you interested in the impacts those choices have on society? Then Economics could be an area of study you might want to explore.
UTAS is offering taster sessions that apply economic theory in real-world context. You’ll explore how psychology or environmental sciences can be applied with economic concepts. And how to create a strategic way of thinking about the world around you.
Perfect for those with no prior experience of economics and interested in:
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Environmental Science
- Geography
- Political Science, or
- business subjects.
There are two 50-minute sessions you’re welcome to attend:
- Behavioural Economics in Action at 9:10am
- Industry or the Environment at 1:20pm
The sessions are in Hobart on Monday 20 September and registrations are essential.
Visit the Economic Taster Session webpage for more information and to register – which is essential.
