Which module do I complete?

Appropriate Behaviours in the Workplace Module

Note: If you are a current DECYP student, and are able to access the Canvas learning platform, please complete the module using this Canvas link instead.

There are two versions of this module. Before going to a workplace, you must complete one of these modules:

• Work-based Learning – for students planning on going to a workplace for work experience.
• Apprenticeship/traineeship – for students planning on going to a workplace for an apprenticeship/traineeship.

1. The modules will take you to an external learning platform Articulate. You will complete the module in your internet browser. It may take around 45 minutes. This must be completed in one go, as the module will not save your progress.
2. Within the module, you can complete a “trusted contacts” form that you can download and save to your device.
3. In the “Wrap up” section, we ask you to verify your completion. A “Verify Completion” link will take you to a Microsoft Form. This will let us know when you’ve completed the module.
4. You can also create your own Certificate of Completion (this is to be emailed to your VET Facilitator/Teacher).

WorkSafe Tasmania WHS Induction Module

We also suggest that you complete the WorkSafe Tasmania WHS Induction. It takes about 20 minutes. You will need to create an account with WorkSafe Tasmania to access the training.
